Dance Gallery of South Dakota

Dance Gallery of South Dakota, a classical ballet and dance studio established in downtown Sioux Falls in 1999 and now located at 218 S. Main Ave, offers Children's Programs for ages 18 months to 7 years, Classical Ballet Programs, Jazz, Musical Theater, Tap, Hip Hop, Contemporary, Modern, Liturgical Dance, and Adult Dance Programs. The studio began with 40 students in one studio and has grown to a seven-studio school serving students of all ages and levels. Owner and director Jackie Pederson-Kriens brings decades of dance experience and teaching expertise.

Dance Gallery uses the Cecchetti method of dance instruction, emphasizing perseverance and using corrections as fuel for improvement in a nurturing environment of kindness and generosity. The facility offers comprehensive dance education from early childhood through adult, helping dancers develop technique, artistry, and stage presence. The studio's long history, diverse programming, and professional instruction have established Dance Gallery as a premier dance education resource in the region.
