Home Federal Bank (HFFC)

Home Federal Bank was a leading financial services institution headquartered in Sioux Falls at 225 South Main Avenue. The bank was a wholly owned subsidiary of HF Financial Corp., traded on the NASDAQ under the symbol HFFC, making it the largest publicly traded savings association based in South Dakota.

The bank operated 27 branch locations across nine communities throughout eastern South Dakota and one community in southwest Minnesota. Home Federal Bank offered comprehensive banking services including savings accounts, checking accounts, lending products, and personalized financial services.

Home Federal Bank was acquired by Great Western Bank at the end of 2015, and the entire account portfolio transitioned to Great Western Bank on 05/16/2016.
