L.G. Everist, Inc. is a family-owned construction materials company headquartered in Sioux Falls that extracts and supplies high-quality rock, sand, and gravel essential to the construction of roads, bridges, buildings, and infrastructure projects throughout the region. Since relocating their headquarters to the historic Paulton Building in 1944, the company has grown to employ 283 people across all divisions in the Sioux Falls area. Specializing in the safe mining and production of alluvial aggregates as well as quarrying and crushing granite and quartzite, L.G. Everist produces materials for asphaltic concrete, PCC concrete, road base, erosion protection, and railroad ballast. Recent strategic acquisitions of Myrl & Roy's Paving, Ace Ready Mix, and United Ready Mix have strengthened their production capabilities.
