Lisa's Lil Spa Room

· 5010 S Minnesota Ave Suite 300, Sioux Falls, SD 57108, USA

I found Lisa's Lil Spa Room on a Tuesday afternoon when I needed my eyebrows fixed before a work thing and everywhere else was booked solid. It's in one of those suite setups on Minnesota Avenue — the kind where you walk down a hallway past other small businesses, each door marked with a name and a number. Suite 300. Lisa's is exactly what it sounds like: one room, her space, no front desk staff or waiting area full of year-old magazines.

Lisa does brows, lashes, facials — the services you'd get at a bigger spa, but it's just her, which I actually prefer. I've been to the places on 41st Street where they hand you off between techs and you never see the same person twice. Here, Lisa remembers that I like my brows a little thicker on the left and that I can't do the really hot wax. She keeps notes, I think, or maybe just pays attention.

The room itself is small, clean, and quiet. She's got a treatment bed, good lighting, and a Bluetooth speaker that's usually playing something instrumental. No frills, no lobby with a waterfall feature. Just the work. I've done a few facials with her and left with that tight, clean feeling — the kind where you don't want to touch your face for the rest of the day because it feels too good.

Parking can be tight depending on the time of day, and if you're running late, you might lose your slot since she books pretty tightly. But that's the trade-off when someone's doing this solo and doing it well. I keep going back because I know what I'm getting — no upsells, no awkward small talk if I'm not in the mood, just solid work in a space that feels personal without trying too hard.
