ReliaMax was founded in 2005 as a specialized financial services company providing a Private Student Loan Platform-as-a-Service solution. Headquartered at 2300 E 54th St N Ste 1, Sioux Falls, SD 57104, ReliaMax specialized in originating, servicing, borrower acquisition, and portfolio liquidity and insurance for over 500 banks, credit unions, alternative lenders, and investors nationwide.

ReliaMax offered comprehensive student loan platform services to enable financial institutions to expand their lending capabilities including technology platforms, loan origination services, borrower management systems, and insurance products for private student loans.

ReliaMax faced significant challenges as the South Dakota Division of Insurance filed a petition to liquidate the company, arguing insolvency. Operations may be limited due to the liquidation process.
