Scherer Inc. designs and manufactures custom kernel processors, rolls, and roller mills delivering tailored solutions for feed, oilseed, and forage processing industries. Founded in 1994 by Bob Scherer in a modest shop outside Tea, SD, the company has grown to over 90 employees in 30 years. The company is now relocating to its new 105,000-square-foot headquarters at Foundation Park in northwest Sioux Falls at 4940 W. Foundation Court, 57107, providing expansion space for continued growth.

Scherer Inc. operates three divisions: Mill Roll Division specializing in reconditioning chilled cast mill and flaker rolls, Kernel Processor Division created in 1999 for forage harvester kernel processors, and Roller Mill Division acquired through purchase of Iowa Farm Automation (IFA) in 2023. The company combines custom equipment design with manufacturing expertise for diverse agricultural processing applications. As a growing manufacturer moving to a major new facility in Sioux Falls, Scherer represents an expanding agricultural equipment manufacturing presence.
