Ziggi's Coffee

· 4410 E 57th St, Sioux Falls, SD 57103, USA

I've driven past the Ziggi's on 57th more times than I can count — that strip between Minnesota and Louise where everything looks the same until it doesn't. This one sits in a standalone building with a drive-thru that wraps around like most coffee places built in the last decade, and honestly, that's the whole point. You're not coming here for the vibe or to camp out with your laptop — you're coming because it's fast and the line moves and you can get a 32-ounce Italian soda that tastes like someone liquidated a candy store.

The menu runs long. Too long, maybe — you've got your standard espresso drinks, but also Red Bulls with flavor shots, smoothies, teas, and those giant sodas that feel more like a dare than a beverage. I ordered a caramel macchiato once and it came out sweet enough to make my teeth hurt, which I think is the brand's baseline. The coffee itself is fine — not remarkable, not offensive — just reliably caffeinated and built for people who want their drinks to taste like dessert.

What Ziggi's does well is convenience. The staff is quick, the app works, and you're in and out in under five minutes even when there's a line. It's the kind of place that fits into your routine without asking much of you. I've seen the same cars loop through multiple times a week — the Toyota with the dog in the back, the work truck that always orders two large mochas — and that tells you something about what people need from their coffee shop.

The interior exists, but barely. A few tables, some merch on the wall, that's it. This isn't where you linger. And maybe that's the one thing I wish were different — a place to actually sit down and stay for a minute would make it more than just another drive-thru on a busy road.
